《2022年斯里安卡沙广播影视奖》（Anugerah Seri Angkasa，简称ASA）公布最后5强入围名单，988电台共入围5个奖项，988 DJ Cynthia馨蕊角逐最佳电台新闻播报员！
在最佳电台公益资讯广播奖最后5强中，988电台占了两席，包括 Alsen冠贤的《“988驶途行者”公路上不插队》及Cynthia馨蕊的《988和凯里Jio你打疫苗》。
首次提名的Alsen冠贤及Stephany淑婷凭着988最前线的两个专题报道《我们都是冠病终结者》及《雪州河流污染解决了吗？》分别入围了最佳官方油管公益资讯及最佳电台新闻报道。
冠病疫情爆发期间，全民接种疫苗成了对抗疫情最有效的方法，当时不少人对接种冠病疫苗仍有疑虑，《我们都是冠病终结者》访问来自冠病疫苗接种中心协调员张赞凯临床药剂师讲解，希望借此解开人们对疫苗的迷思，鼓励人民接种疫苗，让生活回到正常轨道。
雪州过去多次发生河流生水污染事件，导致百万用户深受制水困扰！《雪州河流污染解决了吗？》访问了雪州行政议员黄思汉及大马水务与能源研究协会高级经理林素芳，了解雪州政府采取的解决方案。
另外，由林君彦制作，以小人物，大故事为主轴的《同行者之行侠仗义》人物专访系列入围最佳杂志性电台节目。
《同行者之行侠仗义》纪录了超过10位小人物谱出独有人生的真人真事。
新闻部于1972年创办此广播影视奖，属于国家级的ASA主要鼓励及肯定所有语言的电台及电视台节目及制作人员， 2004年开始开放给私营电视台及电台参与角逐。
"2022 Seri Angkasa Award " (ASA 2022) has announced the 5 finalists for all the 72 categories. 988FM was shortlisted for 5 awards, 4 for Radio category and 1 for New Media category.
988 DJ Cynthia Tan was nominated for the Best Radio News Announcer. For Public Service Announcement & Best Radio Capsule awards, 988FM secured two finalist seats for Alsen Lee's "Queue Jumping Is An Offence" and Cynthia Tan's "Let’s Sign Up For Covid-19 Vaccination”.
Also nominated for the first time for Best Official YouTube Public Welfare Information and Best Radio News Report were Alsen Lee and Stephany Yu for their role as 988 Frontline reporting on "Covid-19 Terminator Part 2 – Vaccination Mission” and "Selangor Water Pollution, Solved?" respectively.
During COVID-19 outbreak, worldwide vaccination is the only effective way to fight the pandemic. Being the most recent pandemic experienced on a global magnitude, most have doubts about vaccination against COVID-19 but in reality, we are “coronavirus terminators” collectively. "Covid-19 Terminator Part 2 – Vaccination Mission” is an exclusive interviewed by 988 DJ Alsen Lee with Chong Zan Kai, Pharmacist at Hospital Melaka to explain about vaccines and vaccination with the intent to instil confidence and encourage people to get vaccinated, putting life back to normalcy.

“988 Walk With You: Our Hero”, an interview series with 10 individuals to share their life journey with their unique jobs and the interesting stories that comes along with it.
Seri Angkasa Award (ASA), a prestigious awards event, introduced by the Ministry of Information in 1972 to recognise the best in Malaysian broadcasting industry. Since 2004, it has been opened to private television and radio stations to participate.
Themed as “Peak of Excellence (Kemuncak Kecemerlangan)”, Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin said ASA 2022 is being held in conjunction with Seri Angkasa Award’s 50th anniversary. It is hoped that ASA 2022 will encourage broadcasters and creative industry players to produce more creative, effective and high-quality radio and television shows as well as create job opportunities in the creative field, he added
